Advertising process
For business sellers, advertising is a straightforward 3-step process
Register before posting your business for sale
Register your details to submit your advertisement, communicate with BusinessExchange and enable interested buyers to contact you.
Enter and approve your advertisement
Write your advertisement in the entry form; guidelines on what to include in your advertisement are provided here.
The advertisement will be assessed by BusinessExchange, which could contact you to finalize it. The business name will be kept confidential to avoid alerting customers, suppliers or employees as this might destabilize the business through speculation and uncertainty
Upon satisfaction with the final advertisement, the advertisement will be released
Receive notifications of interest
After release, your advertisement will be visible to everyone on BusinessExchange for a period of 12 months
A potential purchaser will be able to “express interest” and leave his contact details
If you are interested to engage the potential buyer, you can either make contact or provide your contact details for the potential buyer to contact you
Start discussions to potentially reach a commercial agreement.
For potential buyers, register to receive alerts or post an advertisement
If you are interested to buy a business and would like to receive future updates on businesses posted for sale, you can register to be alerted if a business fits your selected criteria.
